I am a parent of two children in the school currently, but have been involved in the life of the school for the past nine years, first as a Curate of St Barnabas Church, then as a parent, and latterly – since 2016 – as a Governor. Having previously run an education trust, working in schools across South London, I have been privileged to spend a considerable amount of time in very varied primary and secondary education contexts, and, currently employed in the University here, I hope to offer a broad view of the holistic, lifelong, task of education, and the particular part that St Barnabas plays within it. I have previously served as Chair of Governors in a Suffolk primary school, and would consider my skills to lie mainly in the areas of communication and pastoral support.
