Headteacher’s Welcome

Welcome to St Barnabas’ C of E School in the heart of Jericho. Our diverse community provides a rich learning environment that is celebrated and valued by all.

We have a holistic caring approach and value everyone as an individual. The school values underpin everything we do and the well-being of all the members of the school community is our priority.

We are a one form entry school with a Nursery. In 2017 Ofsted judged us as continuing to be a good school. We creatively connect our curriculum to provide a stimulating learning environment. Working closely with our Governors we work hard to raise standards and have high expectations of all our learners and encourage a lifelong love of learning.

We have close links with St Barnabas’ Church and promote Christian values within a multi-cultural, multi faith community. Members of the community are delighted with the inclusive ethos of the school.

The families of St Barnabas’ support the school in many ways and our committed PTA run events throughout the year including the popular annual Run Jericho.

We are exceptionally fortunate to be in walking distance of the rich variety of museums, university departments, theatres, libraries and the regular events that happen in Oxford.

We hope that you enjoy viewing our website and we would be very happy to show you our school in action. Please contact the office if you would like to come and visit.
